Outsourced General Counsel Services
Early stage technology companies often will benefit from a General Counsel who can identify potential issues and address them at the outset. At the same time, it is uncommon for those companies to have the budget or the need for a full-time General Counsel. Rick will get to know your business and use his experience to identify potential legal pitfalls and address them early, before they grow into problems that are much more difficult and expensive to manage.
Commercial Contracting
Creating a customer contract for your business that protects your company’s interests but does not hinder the sales process can be a delicate balancing act. Rick can help write a clear and concise contract that will allow you to close deals quickly while still being able to sleep at night. Rick can also assist you with other types of commercial contracts such as counter-party contract forms, leases, and vendor and partner contracts.
Other Services
Technology companies of all sizes face a wide variety of legal issues. Rick has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, intellectual property protection and licensing, and data privacy and security, as well as many other legal matters that may be relevant to your business.
